Our toys at Alaskan Wooden Toys are hand crafted out of Alaska yellow cedar, Sitka spruce, oak, walnut, birch, maple and various other woods that add contrast to the toys. Remember all toys are handcrafted, this means no two are exactly the same. The oils that are used on all of the toys is the same oil that you would use on your food surfaces such as chopping blocks or cutting boards. The painted faces are non-toxic—child safe. All toys that develop nicks and bruises can be easily fixed. Just sand it smooth and put a small amount of vegetable oil to finish. We make toys because it is fun. |
